Petty developer tore down several historic buildings on Lincoln Way around 2019 and 2021 because they were unwilling to adapt to a zoning decision protecting pedestrians. Instead they put up a passive aggressive sign complaint about not getting their way and creating blight in the heart of Campustown where thriving businesses used to stand. The lots remain empty due to their mismanagement of the properties.

The apartments at 2824 west street had many pros and cons. For one, the kitchen is very small and took a lot to get used to and I had to buy multiple extension cords, shelves, and storage to make it work for me. My unit was on the ground floor and faced the parking lot, meaning I got a lot of commotion from the neighboring bars and loud neighbors and campus ave, but it wasn’t anything extreme. Responsible for the petty abandonment of lots along Lincoln Way in Campustown which used to be occupied by historic storefronts, all because they were stubborn and refused to compromise with the requirements the city put in place to relocate the driveway for a formerly proposed building. The owner of the corporation also has donated to controversial political figure Steve King.
I’m pretty stoked to be moving out of 2824 W St. after living here a year…I usually don’t leave reviews but you’ll find all reviews of Randall Corp on Google/Yelp are pretty accurate. You def get what u pay for (if ur frugal like me), however always had issues w/ Maintenance coming in un-announced, had to buy a special lock for my door as I was afraid of always being walked in on.
