Such a great place with great food. Every time I go it the same amazing standard no matter what dish I get. The decor and ambiance are pretty neat too. Now that they are open for lunch it's always time to get your slurp on!
The broth is so SALTY to compensate for the lack of flavor. The music is also too loud. I would not recommend this place when there are plenty of better options in Austin.
Austin is an easy place to find ramen shops. I've had the classic pork, and the Miso. Both are rich and flavorful broths. Make sure you order Ajitama (egg), which is included free in some of the bowls. It is the one ingredient that makes this place really better than the rest.
Best ramen ever! Recommend getting there right when they open.
My husband and I absolutely adore this place! The original tonkotsu ramen is delicious, but please do yourself a favor and order #5 Tsukemen!!! It's a bowl of cold noodles that you dip in a concentrated pork broth. Holy crap, it is a freaking food orgasm! Great service, tasty food, and thru usually play awesome music at the Research Blvd location.
