Established in 2012, Ramen Tatsu-Ya takes pride in being one-of-a-kind in Austin. This restaurant attempts to recreate the typical feel of Japanese ramen stalls as found with its ambiance and food. As the name suggests, the specialty of this place is the ramen; the wheat for the noodles and the broth are prepared fresh, on-site, so you are sure to get only the best. Refraining from accepting reservations, Ramen Tatsu-Ya is an intimate space that can seat approximately 38 guests; get there well in advance to grab a table.

Most legit Ramen in Austin. Super delicious and most consistent of any Ramen spot in Austin.
Good taste good food..my husband loves this tonkatsu ramen, but not all Japanese restaurant make this...we came right on time they opened at 11am yesterday, so no queue yet..but after we've done eating. the line already long
Amazing. Was only in Austin for one night and wanted a unique place to eat and this nailed it. Amazing food, fun atmosphere. Just all around great place. Don't be intimidated if there is a line out the door, it's worth the wait, and a short wait it will be.
I give Ramen Tatsu-ya 5 stars because honestly I don't know how it could be improved. Go for a late lunch to avoid the big lines, 1:30 and beyond.
#1 with extra noodles, corn, tofu, and the "Fire in a bowl" bomb. You're welcome...
I'm kind of torn... I want to say the food and place is awful because then you won't go and we can keep this place to ourselves. But I care about my karma so I'll be honest and tell you the ramen and sliders are the best. Ever. And I lived in Asia. The place is way fun to exist in. The bathrooms are worth visiting all on their own. Plan to chill in the line to enter tho.
Hands down the best ramen I've had in Austin. The broth is to die for!
This is not just a ramen house. It's an experience.
The dishes are creative with interesting and delicious flavors. The attention to details is evident. Highly recommend!!!
