Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen is a restaurant that lies within the tumult that is Downtown Disney. Ralph has a few dining rooms, the Parlor, the Courtyard and the Jazz Balcony to be exact. Since you are technically outside of Disneyland, adults can enjoy an alcoholic beverage in Ralph's Wine Bar and for a quick bite, the Jazz Kitchen Express serves the best of New Orleans. Outside of Trader Sam's Tiki Bar, this place is one of the best places for a cocktail in the entire Downtown Disney area.
1590 Disneyland Dr, Downtown Disney District, Anaheim, CA, 92802, United States

so horrible it was comical – WoW! It was my sister's birthday, so my family wanted to celebrate it at a DISNEY restaurant, where the company mission/vision is GREAT customer service. We get seated, and it's obvious that when our waiter takes our drink orders, that he's nervous, and way too stressed about the busy night. My step mother orders a lemonade, how he heard "2 rum and cokes" instead is hilarious. My dad ordered a bottle of wine, but the poor chap brought up the wrong one. When the correct wine finally came, I asked ... read more
Don't listen to the "HORRIBLE" people. – The food from Jazz Kitchen is not for everyone, that is a given. If you are looking for corn dogs, churros, and Mickey shaped ice creams, and are in a hurry to catch the next parade, DO NOT EAT HERE! THIS IS NOT A DISNEY RESAURANT! If you would like a classy, flavorful, New Orleans style meal, with possibly some Jazz thrown in, then this place is great. I have been here multiple times, and each time the food is excellent. What is my basis for comparison? Many of the finest restaurants... read more
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME...HORRIBLE! – The restaurant itself is gorgeous...very authentic looking to New Orleans. The food however is a whole different story. I ordered the Jumbalaya and I could not have been more disappointed. It was $17 and just awful. It tasted horrible and it was pretty small for $17. You don't get any bread or anything which is pretty lame. The waitress was a little slow...service and mentally. I tell everyone to avoid this place. The food is terrible, terribly over-priced and poor quality.
Lively Jazz with nice entree – It is a very nice restaurant with live jazz; enjoy the crowd and jazz performance with your favorite New Orleans cuisine. We had Oysters Shooters (great with bloddy mary sauce), Tri-Color Spring Salad , Filet Mignon Rockefeller (the steak was really nice), Blue Crabmeat Topped Blackened Salmon ( i loved the crispy salmon skin !) The finger potatoes was a nice touch and so does the crabmeat. The dessert - Double Chocolate Bread Pudding was a great touch, but it could be better; the sauce does no... read more
Let the good times roll! – Loved it! Went Friday night without reservation, peak dining time. They called our name within 5 minutes and we were shown to the only open table-- next to the band! We asked our server to find another table. The manager showed us to a nice table in the courtyard by a fountain. My husband ordered a mint julep, I had the crisp Merryvale Sauvignon Blanc. We ordered the appetizer platter-- oyster shooters, coconut shrimp, calamari and andouille sausage, all very tasty! Next, 3 soup sampler-- small pot... read more
Great atmosphere but horrible food – Went on a Wed night and expected mediocre food (touristy locale), but imagine our surprise when the food was horrible? The gumbo was watered down. The remoulade with fried green tomatoes (fgt) was mediocre at best (try campanile for amazing fgt). The $7.50 grilled hearts of romaine salad tasted like any other caesar salad. The paneed chicken and the blackened salmon were both below average in taste. The food was so horrendous that although we would've liked to try dessert we declined for ... read more
Stay for the fireworks – We were told the wait would be 45 mins...when we returned we were told they'd call our name and 25 mins later they did. I wasn't too pleased with the service as well. Our server was very nice but she was spread to thin and it took a while for her to get to us. Aside from that...the food was great. I had the Chicken Skewers and my date had the Chicken Pasta. Both were very good and full of flavor. If you know you'll be there during the 9 O'clock hour make sure you are on the balcony. We had a great vi... read more
Good live music, too bad the food isn't – Wasn't at all impressed by their food. We had made reservations here in advance, and then they didn't know have our name on the list when our party got there. *sheesh* Luckily they manage to find some seats. Great live band but cant say much for their food.
Good times... – Although the wait was long, the food was well worth it and the music was too. The service in the restaurant was great (never had an empty glass, and the waiter was very polite). A bit of a pricey meal, but it sure was good!
