Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen is a restaurant that lies within the tumult that is Downtown Disney. Ralph has a few dining rooms, the Parlor, the Courtyard and the Jazz Balcony to be exact. Since you are technically outside of Disneyland, adults can enjoy an alcoholic beverage in Ralph's Wine Bar and for a quick bite, the Jazz Kitchen Express serves the best of New Orleans. Outside of Trader Sam's Tiki Bar, this place is one of the best places for a cocktail in the entire Downtown Disney area.

Brennan's Jazz Kitchen – It's all about the music. That's the magic and why it's called a "Jazz Kitchen." Eat somewhere near the action, definitely downstairs. We escaped into this magic place during a rainstorm, and decided to have a drink while waiting for the worst to pass. There was a full 4 piece jazz band in the bar complete with singer. We decided to eat. The music was worth whatever we paid for the food. The service was slow and laid-back; when there's a show that's a good thing. They let us move closer to the music ... read more
Mediocre at Best – The food was extremely overpriced. I was on a business account so I didn't care. I ordered the soup and it was cold. I was starving so I ate it anyway. I complained to the waitress and she didn't care. The food took a long time to come out. I had the stuffed shrimp. It was pretty decent since I wasn't paying. I probably wouldn't go back but I've been to worse places.
fast and easy New Orleans cuisine – My friends and I were actually in a rush to make it in time for a movie, so we ended up going to the Jazz Kitchen Express. Though at first it was quite an ordeal to find seating, the food came out really quickly. I ordered the jambalaya and my boyfriend ordered the New Orleans Platter Basket. They were both decent in taste level... Though it's probably not top quality Nawlin's cuisine, it isn't bad for what its worth.
Overpriced, Bad Food and the Service was horrible. – My family and I went on a Thursday evening for dinner - our waiter actually came to our table and told us he was really busy and would get to us as soon as he was done with the other tables. We waited 20 minutes for him to come and take our order, another 10-15 minutes for our wine (which he brought the wrong bottle) and no water was served. Then we waited another 30 minutes for our entree's - the shrimp creole was absolutely terrible - the shrimp was of low quality and ov... read more
I'm all for great service and great food and this is the place – WOW ! Amazing, Me and my husband came to this restaurant for the first time. It was are anniversary and we just loved it . The environment itself was incredible it really gave an impression that you were actually somewhere else it was just romantic. We were seated outside and it was actually raining that day so everything was very amusing simply because we were outside and very well protected and warm from the rain.Need I paint a perfect picture it was amazing ... read more
"A New Orleans classic" that's definitely still a work in progress. – The Scene With its wrought-iron balustrades, airy green courtyard and crisp white linens, the Jazz Kitchen is decidedly more upscale than the name implies. Brought to Downtown Disney by Ralph Brennan of New Orleans' Bacco and Red Fish Grill fame, it's not quite ready for prime time. Come for the fine live jazz or to drink in the atmosphere but wait a month or two for the kitchen to catch up with its heritage. The Food They say it's impossible to have a bad... read more
Best Holiday Meal in Orange County California – I was at Jazz Kitchen on Nov 25,2006, and we did not see any cheeseburgers on the menu, so we decided to order the Traditional New Oreleans Holiday dinner. Turkey Ducken or something like that, we started off with a Sweet Patato Puree with Suage in it. ( that was realy a great dish) then we ordered the main course turkey Ducken something, we neded up spiltting that as it was to much for 1 person. It came with Turkey Duck, chicken dressing, and turkey breast Garlic mashed patato... read more
good new orleans food – I went here specifically to try out their beignets and they were very good. We got the plain beignets and I would be very interested in trying other more of their food. My boyfriend grew up with New Orleans food and he said that their beignets were very near what he remembers as a boy.
Great beignets! – I've been here a few times and highly recommend their beignets! Their gumbo isn't exactly accurate but I mainly look at this place for a snack rather than for a full meal. It's downtown DL anyway.
