Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen is a restaurant that lies within the tumult that is Downtown Disney. Ralph has a few dining rooms, the Parlor, the Courtyard and the Jazz Balcony to be exact. Since you are technically outside of Disneyland, adults can enjoy an alcoholic beverage in Ralph's Wine Bar and for a quick bite, the Jazz Kitchen Express serves the best of New Orleans. Outside of Trader Sam's Tiki Bar, this place is one of the best places for a cocktail in the entire Downtown Disney area.

After a long day at the theme parks coming here for fresh made donuts, coffee, and jazz is the way to end the day right.
Good food, good atmosphere. Great for kids and adults. Service is a bit slow when they're slammed during the weekends.
We were back for our annual conference at the Disneyland Hotel and were tired of our usual haunts. So, we headed for the Jazz Kitchen. It was Friday night around 7pm, and I had no idea if we'd be able to get in. I shouldn't have worried! When we arrived we were not only welcomed warmly, if a bit vociferously, so that we were a little taken aback. Once recovered, we were led upstairs to an open room decorated in prime Disney New Orleans style. Our server quickly arrived and went over the items not available on the menu, along... read more
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LIVE MUSIC – I FREQUENT THE CA AREA ON BUSINESS TRIPS AND I ALWAYS GO TO THE JAZZ KITCHEN. WHAT HAPPENED TO THELIVE MUSIC?, I WAS DISAPPOINTED, BECAUSE I LOVE MUSIC AND LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING THE TALENTED MUSICIANS PLAY WHILE I AM DINING AND DRINKING!!!!!. THE BAR HAS BEEN SET HIGH FOR YOUR ESTABLISHMENT, WITH MUSIC, HOWEVER W/O THE SOUNDS YOU WILL LOSE THE FEEL AND SOUNDS OF THE CITY, I, ALSO ALWAYS SUGGEST TO MY WORK ASSOCIATES TO VISIT, BUT I AM GOING TO SHARE THE MUSIC IS NOT THERE, DON'T LOSE MONEY... read more
Stay away from this restaurant. – For all the times I've been to New Orleans, I ate at Brennan's once for breakfast. Of course, Breakfast at Brennan's is one of those musts the guidebooks dictate. This restaurant I thought would be a welcome respite from all the walking. We had dinner there right before hitting the park some more after the grandkids' sleep. The bill for us 4 was over $600, and this is with 2 small children! We had to send back a fish entree my wife ordered because it reeked. When it was replaced, the next fi... read more
Great Music & Atmosphere/Good Food – I had dinner at the Jazz Kitchen on a recent Saturday night. I made a 7:30 reservation (the live jazz starts at 7) and specified I wanted to be seated in the courtyard so I could still hear the music, but I could also have a conversation with my girlfriend (this notion was based off other reviews.) We arrived at 7:20 and checked in. It was going to be a 10 minute wait for the courtyard, or if we wanted they had immediate seating in the main jazz/bar area. I stood inside the main room wher... read more
Great Music, awful food – We were looking for a good live music lounge to hang out in and drink. Unfortunately we got there just in time for the last song they were playing, but boy were they good. If the drinks were anywhere close to decent we would come back for sure. However every drink we tried from the Mojitos to the martini's were just awful. No one finished their drink let alone ordered another one. The $25 plate of jambalaya pasta would not have made the cut at Denny's, let alone here. It was noodles, ketchup and ove... read more
great atmosphere, good service, bad food – i really liked this place when we walked in. it is beautiful and really reminds me of new orleans. but the food was really disappointing.
Great Food, Great Service, Great Restaurant!! – I have been to the Jazz Kitchen several times. Each time, the food has been very tasty! Though I was a little disappointed that the Fried Green Tomatoes were no longer on the menu, I was still really pleased with the appetizer sampler (best Coconut Shrimp EVER), shrimp and lobster ravioli, and double chocolate bread pudding! My most recent visit was for my bachelorette party. Having done the clubbing scene, I wanted to do something different and sure to be fun. We spent the day... read more
