I've experienced 2 surgeries now with Dr Gambordella. Right knee minesctomy and right shoulder rotator cuff repair. My left knee is relatively pain free compared to what we started with and my right shoulder is healing very well.
At first I was concerned that he did not recommend surgery for traumatic injuries to my knee. He knows his statistics. He was supportive throughout the rehabilitation process. Ultimately I did need to have the arthroscopic surgery but most of the injuries had healed on there own (full thickness tear ACL, multiple micro bone fractures and bone bruises). I'm 11 days post-op and very optimistic that I will be back to my sport very soon.
Dr. Gambardella is one of the best in the business. I have sent my wife and mother to see him. I also recommend him to my friends. We all play tennis and he know how to help. He does not push surgery. But rather as a last option to improve quality of life. This is important for those surgery averse to know. The entire team is excellent!

Dr. Gambardella is an amazing surgeon who takes time to make sure you understand your options, outcomes, and answers all your questions. He made feel extremely comfortable before, during and after my surgery.
Dr. Gambardella is extremely experienced. He is one of the best in the biz and knows what he is talking about. He takes the time to explain everything to patients and answers all questions. My experience with him has been fantastic. Kerlan-Jobe however deals with so many patients that scheduling and dealing with billing can be very frustrating and time consuming. But the doctors themselves are great.
Dr. Gambardella was very informative reference my injury and the options available to me. He explained complex procedures in laymen terms allowing me to understand the present conditions as well as choices towards recovery.
