I have celiac disease and am always scared about eating out. I called ahead of time to make sure that they have some gluten free options. When I asked the waitress she was very knowledgeable and sweet about it. The chef came out to take my order separately and he even brought my food out himself. I had zero reaction and was beyond thrilled at the way they handled it. I hate to inconvenience people with my disease but I really appreciate when I don't feel like I'm being a nuisance.
We had a wonderful time at the Rainforest Cafe in Galveston Tx. We took the little ride that was a very reasonable price, shared drinks & an appt. My Daughter got a kick out of their light- glass, and you get to keep the glass, if you have a chance, GO...ya'll will love it !
It was amazing! The ride was amazing just like your going through the actual rainforest! The food was DELICIOUS!
The food was ok, the atmosphere is not one for people with anxiety, and it's a bit hard to hear. But definitely a cool experience.
It's overpriced and very loud. Food was ok and the waiter was very attentive. If you just have to go then go but be prepared. Not much is under $12 except the soup.

can't complain about the food ... but certainly on waitress service and waiting. How can you have an hour wait to sit when there's tables available inside & patio area being empty? Would like to have the full benefit of my granddaughter enjoying her visit next time.
My food was so so I ordered the fried shrimp and expected it to be like I would get it anywhere else, but no it wasn't and then it had a weird cinnamony flavor maybe it was me or maybe it was just that order... The waiter was very good very attentive especially to my 5 year old who asked a ton of questions so props to him on that...will I go again prob will because other than the shrimp anything else I have ordered in the past has been good .
The atmosphere is wonderful, the service great, and the food delicious!! Had the forest hamburger and was only able to eat half, because it was HUGE!
