Stupid long wait to get even out drink orders. We watched 2 other groups the same size as us get seated after us and receive food before us. No where is it acceptable to wait 1 & 1/2 to receive food that was substandard at best.
Way over priced the food was boring and under seasoned
Our service wasn't the greatest and when we finally got our order it was all wrong and then he never came back to check on us so we weren't able to tell him it was wrong. The overall atmosphere is really cool we enjoyed the thunderstorms and all the animals. It was also very expensive for our family to eat there.
Although the ambience was cute. The thunder storms and changing sky theme. Robotic animals. It was nothing more than paying overpriced food at an amusement park. One of the worst steaks I have ever recieved. The ribs werevery dry and the coconut shrimp was rubbery. My GF ordered clam chowder in a bread bowl. She would have gotten twice that at Panera Bread. For half the price. The only thing that made the night decent was the cheese cake and candle for my Loves birthday. Definitely a been there done that thing!!
I was pleasantly surprised when we went to the Rainforest Cafe in the Mall of America yesterday. I went to order with our waiter for my egg allergic daughter, and he told me it's policy that I cannot place her order with him and that I HAVE to place it with the manager. The manager comes over and has a special order ticket that is bright red. He also delivered her meal to me to make sure it was correct. He asked many questions about what she can and can't have.
