I am really satisfied with this place. The hours are very convenient to my busy schedule. They open early and have many openings due to the number of physicians in the office. My twins were sick and to my luck, were able to get seen on a Saturday. There is also a pharmacy next door to them, which makes it easier and beats having to drive around and wait for your prescription, along with a sick child!!
Don t WASTE your time here. Very rude front desk, the wait is always 1-2 hrs long, and if you have an issue or need help they are quick to wash their hands and have no part. Recently I took my daughter there and when she was prescribed anibiotics I CLEARLY told them not to send it to the pharmacy next door. So when I went to MY pharmacy to fill the prescription I was informed that my insurance had noted that it was already filled at another pharmacy. By that time it was too late to call the clinic. This place has gotten so greedy! My health care provider was Dr. Ruth Bernardez-Tan and I never get to see her! So many girls working there and they keep you on hold for at least 15 min then get transferred to the front desk voicemail! This happened 3 times! It used to be a pretty good place when I first started going but now it s just horrible! I will try to find a me pediatrician after this experience
My child needed a referral. I was told it would be two weeks before hearing from them. I called after two weeks and I was told they should be calling within the next two days. They never called. So I called the office and asked for the name and phone number of the doct where my daughter was being rerefered. I was told that they could not provide me with the phone number. After switching from Pediatric and Adolecent center of Grand Priaire and Arlington, then to Wee Tots Pediatric, I thought there was no hope. Both those clinics have the rudest employees, and you re left in the waiting room for hours before being seen. And that s with an apt. Oh and trying to call and get an actual person to answer to make an apt was a nightmare. I d rather pull my own teeth than make an apt with those two clinics. We have taken our three kids to Dr.Capino particle for 16 years, and have always been pleased and the kids LOVED Dr. Capino. Dr.Toni Capino retired and sold her practice to Ruth A. Bernardez-Tan so we decided to give this new practice a try and boy were we so disappointed, the staff (with the exception of nurse Julie) are rude and have little to no knowledge of whats going on. Keep your child away from this place! My son has recurring ear aches. Dr Tan prescribes Augmentin, doesnt work so she prescribes Cefdinir (sp?), doesnt work so she prescribes Augmentin AGAIN. Wait doc it didn t work the first time remember? Well, she says, try it out for a few days and see. (Uh, my child is not a dog to be tested on like this). Ive been taking my son to Dr. Tan since he was born (1 year ago). When we took him in for his 1 month check up we mentioned that his breathing seemed very fast. A lot of doctors would disregard your concern when the child looks fine (which my son did). But Dr. Tan decided to check his oxygen just in case. Much to all of our surprise, he was only getting about 60% Oxygen. Thanks to her and her staff, the ambulance was there in no time and my Sons heart defect was caught just in time. this place is HORRIBLE, i cant believe there are so many good reviews. my son is 9 months old and had been going there since he was born, but i will not take him back there after what happened today and im currently looking for a new dr. let me start off by saying the staff is unpolite, VERY unprofessional and are in there own little worlds most of the time not doing there job.. when my son was 4 months old the nurse gave him an extra hep b shot that he wasnt suppsed to have till he was 6 months old.. she gave it to him even... read more
