Had to stay here on business. Fiasco with room keys. Desk staff didn’t know there is no phone on the second floor near the elevator. Problem resolved the first night after 5 trips to the front desk. Second night, same fiasco with our stuff locked in the room. Blamed the problem in a new system...Really?
Very pleased. We were greeted by smiling front desk agents. The cool free lemonade on the lobby plus life'sized Elmo of sesame street are nice touches my kids appreciated. My kids initially didn't want to go on vacation with us but in the end they came out happy and satisfied due to their swimming in the good-sized outdoor and indoor pool, sunbathing in the wide outdoor patio and on-site eating. Everyone very nice. Rooms were big and clean. Food was ok. Was mostly there to celebrate a special day
This was our 2nd stay here and it was better than the 1st stay back in 2009. The hotel was very clean, the staff was extremely courteous and I think my kids enjoyed the indoor pool more than Sesame Place. I highly recommend booking a room here.
I've been coming here every summer with my son since he was under 1; sometimes making a second trip in October. It's perfect distance from Sesame place and if you join the Club Carlson rewards program you can rack up points quickly and get discounted(or even free) rooms. We drive almost 5 hours every year for this trip and we have never been disappointed with our stay. The staff is EXCELLENT! We stayed 2 nights August 2017. Check-in was nice and easy. Indoor/ outdoor pool was nice although both were cold and crowded. Temps were unusually low for this time of year in Philly but I would have thought indoor pool would have been heated. Rooms were nice and clean. Only down fall was 2 double beds instead of 2 queen beds. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We will be back!
