My Daughter and Son In Law had their Wedding Ceremony and Reception in the Walnut Room....we arrived on Thursday morning at 10:30a.m....our room was ready.... all the staff from check in too HouseKeeping couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful....their Ceremony was held on Sat March 24th....the Cocktail Hour was fabulous...the food was delicious....Reception was awesome....lots of wonderful memories were made...we checked out on Monday the26th....
Great place, breakfast was amazing . Staff was very nice and accompanying.
I’m here for the week. But so far the bed is comfortable, bathroom is small and has low water pressure. Heat and air is old but works. Food is good and the bar is nice. I think this is an older hotel and it needs some TLC. Over all not bad.
The room was fine with the exception of the old fashioned heat/air conditioning system. We had to get two double beds and the one closet to the unit had cold air blowing on me every time the "heat" would come on. Because of this I was not able to get a good night's sleep. We had attending an event in one of the ballrooms and while the entertainment that we went to see was superb, the food served was atrocious! I would have been ashamed and embarrassed to serve it. We went to see the Dupree’s for Valentines Day dinner. The Dupree’s were wonderful and we would go just to see them again. Maybe somewhere else! The dinner was not so good. A skimpy salad, they did have a few carrots and celery with chips and a bowl of hummus but not enough for a table of 10. Dinner was a piece of breaded chicken with scant piece of provolone with a small spoonful of rigatoni on the side. I stay there each time I go for my company. Manager meetings. Great place and clean. I would recommend staying there.
