I was three hours from home in Alpena when the starter just quit in my vehicle randomly. Stranded, and had to leave town the next morning. I called a few mechanic shops in the area- they either didn’t have an opening or took 2 days to call me back. Not R Auto though. They were so gracious and accommodating to my urgent situation. Expensive improper diagnoses, wrong assumptions about brand new parts. Lied about position of car (sat out side for weeks told it was next up and inside for 2 weeks) than upon pick up was told to move out of his office "he needed space" rude for a LLC not worth the money or time.
Knowledgeable staff, very professional! Desiel when going by, stop and go on in!
After 3 conversations that my Duramax was deleted, (which is the only reason I was taking it to them, and not taking it to a dealership) this was made clear..they had me Tow it up there just to say he won't touch it bc it's deleted. Even though it's a fuel line and had nothing to do with emissions. Completely wasted my time and money. If you have a tuned truck don't take it there!
