Best Bike Shop Ever Anywhere No matter what! I have a 1982 Goldwing Interstate GL1100. Try to get any of the big guys to work on it! Woods was nice enough to refer me to John @ Q. Z. Cycle. Only nice thing they did for me. I of course had carb problems, was fouling out cylinder 3. Took it to John, we discussed what the issues were, mainly age and poor storage as I had just bought it. John spent quite a bit of time working on the carbs, had a mixture screw on the low speed side of carb 3 that had welded itself to the carb bod... read more

Great Work! John at QZ Cycle just finished working on my '74 Honda CB360 and I am truly pleased with the experience. When I dropped the bike off it was only running on one cylinder and the gas tank was rusted on the inside. He fixed the gas tank, cleaned the carbs, and set the timing; now it runs GREAT. John evaluated what was wrong, told me what it would take to get it running right, and stuck to the estimate he gave me. I highly recommend this shop and will continue to use it for all future work or tune ups.

Best Motorcycle Shop in ATX!!! I ride a V Star 1100 and recently took it to another shop to have the carb worked on. Shortly after, I noticed that the bike was running rough and I was referred to John. I took my bike to John and he quickly diagnosed a list of possible issues. I told him that I recently paid to get my V Star worked on somewhere else and didn't have the cash to shell out for another major service. He gave me a very reasonable quote and completed the work in less than a week. During the time my bike was in the ... read more

Old School Mechanic John Keyser rescued my 1986 factory originla GSXR 1100. It had been bought out of state and taken to 2 shops in Waco, Texas. Both of them botched it completely. I called every bike shop in Austin and none of them wanted to touch a bike that old. Every single one of them mentioned John's name. I took it to him and left him a list of problems I knew of. He did that and more. He called me everytime he hit a snag and asked what I wanted to do. When I went and got the bike, I was amazed. It ran and looked like... read more

Totally Stoked! I recently purchased two vintage Honda's bikes, and apon getting them I soon realized I would need parts and repairs. After checking in with some of the larger shops I soon realized their parts as well their service is limited, yet helpful; but still they couldn't help me very much; specially for older bikes. I thought I would have to walk the earth without parts and repairs I felt done. Then John's number was given to me, getting me in touch with his store Q.Z.Cycle. I soon realized that John could not only ... read more

Saved the day Its tough to find a shop in Austin that does scooter repair if your bike is from another town or shop. I called around and found a few places finally getting work done at Acme Cyclewerks on East Cesar Chavez. The guy that owns the shop there is cool, but he (over)charged me $300 to rebuild the carborator and my scooter broke down after a week. I called around some more and found Q. Z. Cycle. The owner John is a nice guy and charged me much less than Acme to truly fix my bike. I know this place is out of the way... read more
