THIS PLACE IS A TRAINWRECK!! Do yourself a favor and use any of the UCHealth Urgent Cares in Colorado Springs if you need medical attention. There’s one a couple of miles south at Barnes and Powers. My wife was sent to QwikCareMD for a COVID Rapid Test by another doctor due to requiring a confirmed negative result for a surgery scheduled within 48 hours. This place was horrible. During COVID they do not practice social distancing. MANY patients came in for the Rapid COVID test. The chairs were crammed in right next to one another and too close to the front desk. Patients were within 2-3 feet of one another while checking in and waiting. I paid self-pay of $176.33 up front. They don’t call u in a timely manner ab ur results.
I was seen in the Pueblo clinic. Things seemed efficient and proper. Fast forward 6 days to getting my test results. They have my date of birth incorrect and the NP report lists me as male (but they say my chart is correct as female). NP report lists all the of the observations made during my exam, like ears, nose, throat,etc, when in fact, she never looked in my ears, nose, or throat. RecommendedThe family practice and the urgent care is amazing the people that work there they’re very polite very nice I highly recommend if you are sick and need to go to the urgent care or if you would even like a PCP I recommend this clinic
When I called they told me they accepted my insurance, when I got there they said they didn’t. I went ahead and self paid. The student tech did not take my daughter’s temperature correctly (no fever) and I asked her to redo it (confirmed fever). I asked for a flu swab, and she attempted to swab her throat. I corrected this and she barely swabbed her nose. Thankfully, she didn’t have to redo it since it came back positive for Influenza A. The PA came in for two minutes at the end to give rx. A couple of weeks ago we had been in a car accident. His back and ribs have been hurting ever since but he over did it and hurt his back worse last night. So today he went to that QwikCare by the movie theater in Pueblo because that was the only urgent care that when we called said they would take x-rays and took Medicaid because we didn't want to wait all day at an ER. But the doctor barely looked at him and said he should go to a chiropractor. Umm a chiropractor won't even touch my husband with the rods he has in his back.... read more
Hannah is warm and welcoming, I always feel like I receive the best care possible quickly, in fact I switched over to them for primary care as well. Can't recommend qwikcare enough
