so healthy. so good. so nice. Wish I lived closer. This restaurant is a gem!
Food was very good. I really enjoyed the mushroom soup. My husband had the burger but it wasn't filling for 15 dollars. A small salad or chips should go with it..I know coleslaw was with it but it was tiny and not full of much flavor. The food was very good though.
This is a great Raw vegan restaurant. I would highly recommend it. The food is delicious and the owner was very welcoming. If I lived in NYC I would make it a regular spot for lunch and dinner.

This review will be coming from the perspective of a non-vegan. I went with my brothers who are currently on a raw diet. We traveled from northern NJ to taste. The establishment itself was compact and very clean. Hostess/waitress was friendly and knowledgeable; however, the entire process from seating to receiving check and everything in-between, was incredibly slow. 'Twas an almost 2-hour adventure. Let me state upfront that I'm not vegan or a foodie. I had an opportunity to taste Quintessence's menu of choices and I was literally blown away. Had I been blindfolded or not told what I am eating, I would have never known. From the soups to the vegan burgers and the mouthwatering dessert, this was a truly enjoyable experience. The best part? Quintessence is now on my list of unique NYC restaurants and I am telling my friends about it.
