I've got to say, when I heard about your lawsuit against The Queens' Tea, my first thought was "They must not have a very good product to feel so threatened by a little tea shop in Utah!". I certainly won't be trying your product.
I cannot in good conscience support your business. Hoping for an explanation, retraction of the lawsuit, and apology. Good sportsmanship and ethics are worth so much more than tea.
I see the one star reviews concerning the bullying of the frivolous lawsuit started a couple months ago, but from folks in Salt Lake. Now we in Seattle --- people who live in the neighborhood and who have patronized your tea room -- have learned about the lawsuit so let's see what happens. A true Tea Queen would act with more dignity. I will not be back.
I love taking high tea - I adore the scones, clotted cream, and fussy finger sandwiches. I wish I could get a little taste of London by visiting this establishment, but alas, my conscience will not allow it. I am extremely disappointed by the Queen Mary Tea Room's ridiculous lawsuit against a small company in in Utah. To punish the The Queens' Tea for their charitable fundraising is egregious. You have lost a customer. Shame, shame!
Poor form. Tend to your own business. If you're so insecure about your product and services that you have to sue a tiny local business in Utah, maybe you should just get out of the game altogether. Corporate bullying isn't a good business model, and it just makes you look like complete jerks.
When the first mention of your name is attached to the knowledge that you have frivolously sued a small, minority-owned enterprise, an enterprise that is many states away, it's the kind of impression that chills any interest in your services or products, present or future. And I am not the only one to hear of you in this manner.
Queen Mary Tea Room has a 4.3 star rating with 1,030 reviews.
Queen Mary Tea Room is open now. It will close at 6:00 p.m.
