The oldest independent Tea Room in America. Treasured memories are made at Seattle's Queen Mary Tearoom, where healthful teas, delicious meals, and mouthwatering desserts are savored. Very poor ethics and shady business practices. They run a Pyramid scheme (perching themselves firmly on top to the detriment of their marketers) and they vicisiously attack other small businesses and even charitable enterprises. It's shameful.
Just like the Queen to not care about the poor and homeless.
Queen Mary tea room practices frivolous lawsuits in its attempt to subvert another small boutique tea mail order start up with a completely different business model. In the legal world, they are called patent trolls. Boo on this business, do not support them.
Bullying small businesses is your idea of good publicity, eh?
I will never go here again. I am ashamed that a small tea company is being bullied through litigation just because they have Queen in their name. There is no way you have any more claim to the word queen than any other American. You do not represent Seattle very well.
I would never give my patronage to this establishment: see the Salt Lake Tribune story about how the Queen Mary Team Room is suing because t-shirts with the words "Tea Queen" were sold to help Utah's homeless youth.
We are so disappointed in the legal actions being taken by this business against another small business, hundreds of miles away. The Queen Mary Tea Room was our favorite place to celebrate birthdays, but we will no longer be going there. Shame on you.
Queen Mary Tea Room has a 4.3 star rating with 1,030 reviews.
