Quartino

4.5

About this business

With the melange of regional favorites from all over Italy, co-owner and chef John Coletta presents both traditional cuisine as well as experimental items at Quartino. The restaurant is known for providing quality, handmade food, where almost everything is made fresh and within house. Try the salumeria tasting, it is quite impressive and with a variety of wines to go with the food, there isn't any surprise why the place is a firm favorite among Chicagoans.

Quartino is lovely! I was in Chicago for the weekend and sat outside in the balcony at Quartino & it doesn't even feel like you are in Chicago anymore! The ambience, the service & the food is awesome & the prices aren't scary either. We ordered 2 appetisers, 2 mains, drinks as well as dessert between two of us & it was one of the best meals ever. Our hostess was exceptionally good & I'd recommend this restaurant especially to all the vegetarians. The food is delish!

It was good so we decided to order another, obviously because there was 6 of us and being told it was family size but when it came it wasn't, we'd of course have to order more. We didn't receive the same dish, it was WAY too under cooked I mean even the pasta was still clumped together, that hasn't happened to me before, disappointed... read more

Great restaurant with authentic italian food. Loved the caponata and eggplant parmigiana...just like in Italy. Great options for vegetarians.

OMG CANNOT DESCRIBE! Patrick one of the Managers and Derrick our server and bartenders were as fantastic as the food. We had the veal meatballs, romaine salad, pappadelle, lemon ciello, and a chocolate cake that should be experienced by all mankind. thanks again to Cindy Moreno Wagner for another amazing recommendation. Oh yeah and the wine... Something for everyone.
