Quartino

4.5

About this business

With the melange of regional favorites from all over Italy, co-owner and chef John Coletta presents both traditional cuisine as well as experimental items at Quartino. The restaurant is known for providing quality, handmade food, where almost everything is made fresh and within house. Try the salumeria tasting, it is quite impressive and with a variety of wines to go with the food, there isn't any surprise why the place is a firm favorite among Chicagoans.

Our first night in Chicago and we hit the jackpot! The pepperoni pizza was amazing and the penne alla vodka pasta dish is the best I've ever had, no question. We loved it so much we went back on our last night in the city; the quattro formaggi and fettuccine alfredo were on point. This restaurant itself is on point, the staff is amazing and we would love a location in the Dallas area.

I had to take Matthew for a pizza in Chicago and I saw that Quartino had amazing reviews and lots of good pizza options for Matthew. I have many allergies - wheat, dairy, gluten, egg and yeast so I knew I wouldn't be able to have the pleasure of trying the pizza's although I knew I could maybe adapt a salad or something along those lines. However the staff weren't satisfied with me simply 'adapting' a dish they wa... read more

My mother and I came for lunch after an exhibit at The Driehaus Museum. It was a beautiful day to sit on their patio! The flowers on the patio were so pretty. The service was impeccable. There was always someone there to serve, clear and fill. Everyone was extremely kind as well. The food was amazing. The week day lunch special was perfect. A choice from 3 sections for $25 for 2 people and the portion sizes were larger than I thought. I will be back again and again! Thank you!!
