With the melange of regional favorites from all over Italy, co-owner and chef John Coletta presents both traditional cuisine as well as experimental items at Quartino. The restaurant is known for providing quality, handmade food, where almost everything is made fresh and within house. Try the salumeria tasting, it is quite impressive and with a variety of wines to go with the food, there isn't any surprise why the place is a firm favorite among Chicagoans.

So glad that I decided to try Quartino's. Staff was friendly, service great and food fabulous. Best of all - reasonable prices in the city! I had their homemade pasta with bolognese sauce - pasta was cooked with just the right amount of bite. Just be careful sitting down - at least on the porch - some of the chairs are a bit rickety. Bottom line - I'll definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes.
Quartino's made a much-needed day out for my parents very special. They'd had a hard week, and so I called ahead to ask if I could pay for their lunch without my parents knowing. They didn't have a reservation, so it was tricky to arrange, but the staff did it. Not only that, but they saved a special table for two, on the balcony, overlooking the street and gave them lemoncello (their favorite) on the house. The staff didn't even know why I wanted to buy their meal, but they went ahead and went above and beyond for them. You... read more
What's not to love? We had a company event. The food was delicious, every single bite! The staff was "on it" the entire time. My favorite? The fresh pasta. OMG
