Had to come in for an ECG and was not expecting to play 'Squid Game.' As someone who pays a massive amount of taxes into our provincial healthcare system, it was definitely an interesting (and shocking?) experience.

while the emergency appendectomy itself was successful, the post-op care was completely unacceptable. I waited 14 hours for a follow-up physician visit that never occurred. when I was discharged, I was sent home with the IV needle still in my arm. furthermore, my discharge prescriptions were never entered into the system, and I was provided with absolutely no pain management, not even tylenol. despite multiple calls to the hospital, I spent 18 hours without access to my necessary medication, only to be told to "relax" and "w... read more

Its so crazy busy here. I find all hospitals the same. Its miserable being there so tensions are always high so when people dont get immediate answers for things they become upset. Its a huge mess of emotions but I believe the Dr's or lack thereof of try to do their absolute best while being under staffed.

My mother has been there since Friday night with an infected gallbladder, with a lot of pain. Since her arrival the nurses who check her at the entrance did not give her anything for her terrible pain, she had to wait more than 6 hours with terrible pain for them to give her something. Today, Sunday, May 8, they are supposed to operate it first thing in the morning and it is not like that, they will leave it perhaps for tomorrow.
