I'm at patient, right now, in 4.2. The nursing staff, doctors, food servers, HAD BEEN GREAT. I couldn't give it a higher mark because, today is day TEN. In that time I've had X one day a cleaner came to sweep X two days they came to sanitize, BUT one day was to wipe the foot rail of my bed, next time was to wipe the two handles of my closet. THAT'S IT. X they do come in, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day to empty garbage, linens and soil. X mopping, well. In 10 days, they've been here maybe 4. An absolute nightmare of a facility that completely fails at basic hygiene and patient care. Hallways are dirty, it's visibly dirty throughout the room, and live mice were spotted scurrying around the room and cafeteria. When the situation was brought to the nursing staff, the response was that it’s a "good idea to bring your own cleaning supplies", an utterly unacceptable abdication of basic health standards. Absolutely disgraceful. Taxed to death for a failing overburdened system. Went in with broken fingers. Dr can't be bothered to put hand in a cast so they get paramedic to do it. Paramedic sets fingers crooked and told me plastics would fix it. Met with Dr corkum, dismissed my fingers being crooked, would not xray and send me off to physio. Physiotherapist was nice and I followed he's recommendations. This did not correct my twisted fingers. So now plastics lack of action has crippled my right dominant hand.
