best wax in philly – I went in to have my lip waxed and anna was so good i got a brazilian!!! i have been alot of places for waxing and nothing beats anna!! she has me every month!!! the whole experience would have been perfect except for the pushy annoying woman up front the manager.
Awesome Massage & Pedicure – I was in Philadelphia on business and my hotel recommended Pure Bliss for a pedicure. When I looked at their website and saw the list of services and the very reasonable prices I decided to have a deep tissue massage as well. Holly did my pedicure and it was wonderful. She was thorough, gentle when needed and strong where it was important! My nails looked great and my skin was soft and relaxed. AWESOME facials and peels for 1/2 of the derm price – I went to see Ana for my signature facial and peel consultation. I asked everything under the sun and then after my cleansing facial with extractions I couldnt even feel, I bought the PCA kit to use for 2 weeks. Great products for great costs. Ana explained everything I could consider for my pores and was considerate of my upcoming wedding. We started with a sensi peel and explained the folllow up care. SEE FOR YOURSELF; I am a weekly client over a year – Purusing this site, I realized that most people use this to hear themselves rather than spread positive feedback for others to enjoy. I have been a client of Pure Bliss for over a year for their accommodating, excellent service, outstanding massage and services. I don't go to spa's very often, but I have to say that I enjoyed my appointment at Pure Bliss. The receptionist was helpful and cordial, and my therapist was friendly and gave me an extremely relaxing massage. The place was slightly small, but it had a tranquil feel to it. The interior had an alternative feel to it, but I must say it was unique and in some weird way added to the experience. A Tranquil Discovery with the best massage , Friendly Intelligent staff – Just moving to the city, my boyfriend knew that my requirement to be happy was a great weekly massage and a quiet escape after work or after my workouts. Services are good BUT The Owner is not friendly at all!!!! – The spa and its services were very relaxing and enjoyable but, unfortunately, the owner was not friendly at all and ruined my experience completely. From the moment I walked in the door she was demeaning and unhelpful. Found a great new place! :-) – This was the first time I've been to pure bliss, but it won't be the last. I had an outstanding massage with nicole. I was down for a 30 minute therapeutic massage at first, but one of the women there offered me 10% off if I extended. Thank you soooo much! I'm glad I did!! The spa itself was very pretty and much larger than I thought. There were way more services offered than I thought also--so many different massages. Give up the sales pitch!!! – First of all, my actual massage was fantastic -- Madelyn is awesome! But the service before and after my treatment was truly awful. First I had to witness the manager scold the receptionist for about 20 minutes, and then frantically attempt to sort out which massage therapist would be working with which client. I realize that they were busy (and probably overbooked) but isn't the point of making an appointment to have that scheduling stuff worked out BEFORE the client arrives?
