I love this place!! The chocolate truffles and caramel walnut dark chocolate turtles are to die for. The employees here are so sweet and glad to help you with anything you need. Plus, the 99 cents for 3 scoops is an awesome deal anytime of the year. You can eat it outside by their duck pond and fountain, all shaded and serene. You'd never know that a family owned chocolate factory poking out from behind some tall trees on the side of the highway would offer gourmet treats and even better service, but it does! I go to this place all the time! It was one of our favorite little spots, I bring friends and family often. Today the ice cream scoop was so small that I asked Cynthia (customer service gal) why the scoops were so small. She said they changed the size to cut costs. I suggested that the girl at the counter let the owners know that this would have an effect on business, the gal roller her eyes, and didn't respond at all. This is the new norm I guess. Our family loves this place! Nice staff.. Clean environment.. Great chocolate.. Yummy ice cream.. And a beautiful outside area to sit with your kids. They have an awesome pond with fish and frogs.. Some friendly little wild life. A lovely water fountain in the pond. Beautiful swinging benches under the shade. Seriously this is a wonderful spot to stop at! I highly suggest if you have not checked them out and have been wondering, that you now take the time and head on out there! ❤
The ice cream scoop was about 2 tablespoons today I have never gotten such a little amount of ice cream for $1.00 I would post this pic but it won't let me
Friendly, wonderful people - yummy chocolate and delicious ice cream all in a beautiful park setting.
Stopped here last week on a road trip to Redding. Bought a 1 lb (ish) box...hand picked the flavors that we wanted. Waited until our return home to savor the little wonders of this special out-of the-way treasure. The chocolates were awesome, each and every one of them. Definitely worth the stop. I wish you were closer to home. :)
