This diagnosis was scary and overwhelming. I found this website and ordered one of their packets for the newly diagnosed. It was like I had been in a dark cave and someone turned on a spotlight. They gave me enough information to start formulating questions to ask my doctors. They even sent a guide that help me discuss PAH with my children. I am very grateful to this association for their commitment to educating and researching PAH.
I also have pulmonary hypertension 6 years now. It's hard I have a 6 year old little girl that I can't run and play like I like to. My heart is enlarged. Lose of weight loss of breath . But it don't slow me down much I'm 35 and I'm on a ton of meds pretty much live in Vanderbilt university medical center. Just wish their was someone to figure out a cure. It's a hard life to adjust to but u hafto keep the faith and move forward.
