I have mrvp (right ventricle pressure) of 24mmhg. OK resting but short breathed on any exercise. Can walk slowly on level ground OK, but slightest incline and I have to stop. I am a candidate for PTE surgery. I am 73 years old and was very active my entire life. The question is to try to live with what is for now relatively mild PAH, or take a chance on a cure with PTE surgery.
