Everyone in the office is kind and chipper every time I go in. Dr. Mkono is a very bright lady and it’s easy to see she cares for her patients. She’s always been honest with me about my treatment options. I also firmly believe she really helps me choose the best option for me. I don’t know where I’d be today if I hadn’t made an appointment with her.
Every time I’ve gone in for an appointment they all show me nothing but love. It’s a like a family away from family almost over there. Dr. Mkono is always available when I really need to make an appointment, and she takes great care of me while I’m there. She takes the time to break things down to me in simple terms. It’s always a good experience, and I can’t think of anything negative that’s ever occurred while I was there.
I get nervous going to any doctor’s office. This was a little different too as I was referred here, but nonetheless I was timid. Thankfully Dr. Mkono is very easy to talk to and helped me feel a little less intimidated. She took her time when explaining things and made sure I understood everything. I felt her compassion, and she seems like a very good person at heart. Plus being a great doctor.
My primary care advised that I find a specialist to help treat my COPD. I ended up going to Dr. Mkono, and I’m really glad I did. I could tell she was experienced by the way she talked about disease and respiratory issues. She took in a lot of information about me, and informed me of multiple options. I still go back to her for my prescription, and to monitor my condition. I think she’s a wonderful doctor, and she’s really helped me get my quality of life back.
She really listens. She answers questions without impatience. There's no condescension. She's generous with her time. I trust her, completely. A great pulmonologist. And very likeable.
I think she's the greatest! She gives you his time and attention! She understands and is quick to help in every way!
Worse doctor and staff I have ever seen in all my life. So disorganized that they cant keep track of important paperwork constantly making me have my primary fax same referrals over and over
Worst experience from a Dr. That I have ever had! Dr.'s staff and Dr. are extremely unorganized. Waiting over 6 months for a sleep study, when I finally got one done, Dr.'s staff insisted they had the results and to come in. Came in, waited 45 min. while they searched for results, never found them; called the sleep lab myself to get the results, to be told they weren't ready. Told Dr. while I was waiting that I was having trouble breathing; she never offered to examine me. Bad Doctor!
She is so sweet I am so happy that she came to my way in Bethesda Medical Hospital, I can't say enough, she heard all my concernes and helped to fell better, When I got I was so sick now I am much better, thank you for a sweet doctor that cares.
