Excellent practice--surprised at negative reviews. I am completely shocked at the negative reviews. I recently moved about an hour from the city and after going to a couple of appointments with pediatricians in Virginia I gladly make the hour drive (on route 66 to boot!) to bring my daughter to her appointments in DC. I have not found a place that's comparable in the least. Maybe they just have too many patients Unfortunately, I have to echo the reviews here. My previous pediatrician (Ahlstrom on Connecticut Ave.- The best!!!) didn't accept my new insurance so I had to change to this practice. The first couple of visits I thought that 45 minute wait times were just normal in a downtown office. But when my son actually got sick with ear infections and eye infections and high fever I found it difficult to get a call back in a timely manner. What?! They're great!!! I am totally shocked by all of the negative reviews here. We have been with this office since the birth of our first child, and they have been personable, kind, gentle, informative, and dedicated on every visit/call. Dr. Ariza came to the hospital to check on our second child after birth and we have been able to book appointments with her for each follow-up. mediocre I have been their customer for the last 3 years and very recently decided to change doctors. I rarely see Dr. Ariza. Last time it was one of their nurses who conducted the examination. I don't have a strong opinion of these doctors neither negative or positive. What really annoys me about their clinic is the rudness of the front desk people. They have a nurse who is excellent. Still Waiting to see a Doctor It all comes down to this. If you want to sit in the waiting room for one and a half to two hours past your scheduled appoint time to see a doctor then Pullman and Ariza is for you.
Miss J well i have been going to this practice for along time now and Yes there are some good staff members there Jackie and Lakeisha are great now when it comes to the back i dont think so. The older lady/nurse whatever she is, is very rude and dont no how to give shots or draw blood. Dr anderson to me and my children is the BEST Doctor. She is nice,sweet and kind. to the rest of the staff and doctors thumbs down.....
Good News!!! Hello everyone, I have read all of the comments on this page and they are not very good at all. I have great news I will be joining this practice as one of the medical receptionist and I assure you that the rudeness will no longer be a problem...lol I hope you all give the practice another chance and you will see the difference things will be...
Frustrated My child had a near 105 degree fever and I called the answering service twice, never got a call back, took the baby to the ER, and still when the ER called the doctor, got no answer. It took a full 24 hours to get a call back.
Location! Location! Location! Location! Location! That's the only good thing about Pullman & Ariza Pediatrics.
