I am very happy living at Puerta del Sol. I would recommend PDS to any UCI student. The best thing about this property is how close it is to campus. For students like me without a car, PDS is the perfect place to live because everything you need is in walking distance. Both the UCI campus and the shopping centers are across the street. I love how small, quiet, and affordable this community is. I love my studio apartment which came fully furnished. I also love the complimentary coffee in the morning!
Puerta Del Sol is actual pretty cool coming from the dorm life of Mesa Court. I really like the apartment feel to it. The apartment itself is nicely designed. I guess I can say it's a home away from home! I really like how it is very close to the gym as well as a plaza with a variety of food places in addition to a grocery store. Not only that, but there is also a bus stop close by, free printing, free parking, and a lot more benefits in store. Overall, I enjoy living here and hope to stay here until I graduate!
I’ve been living in Puerta del Sol for roughly a quarter and a half now and I would like to give my opinion on living here! When I first arrived at the parking lot on move-in day, staff were seemingly ready to assist those who will be living in PDS for the upcoming year (as in, they will hand you the keys along with the amenities and amenity access inside a packet). I definitely love living at Puerta del Sol! The area is very clean and has beautiful decor. The apartments are also furnished with very comfy furniture and the staff is always very welcoming!
5/5 would stay here again. close to albertsons and very convenient place to live.
Living in Puerta del Sol is really great! A lot of amenities are included and there are a lot of accessible resources in the area. It's convenient that the walk to get onto campus is a little less than 15 minutes; and, there is a bus stop right in front as well as Albertsons and some restaurants across the street. The staff is very friendly and always very helpful; the office is also open pretty late into the night so you have much more time to get any questions answered!
Puerta Del Sol is the full package! Easily accessible to campus, study rooms galore, community programs every week, right across from Albertsons, free parking, and a variety of housing from the cheapest 4-person apartment to a studio to yourself!
Decent experience if you take a single room. Friends tried to get 4 in a room, but were completely split up with no option of withdrawal or room switching.
