Opened in 1771 by Colonel Ebenezer Crafts, the Publick House Historic Inn offers a charming and historical stay. The inn was used during the American Revolution as a training ground for soldiers and rumor has it that George Washington even stopped by. The food was wonderful and the setting for a wedding is a welcome pleasure.
Staff very helpful and attentive. Cozy fire and very nice meeting accommodations.
Room was 76° when I first went in. I adjusted heat to 70. Woke up at 4m. 62° in room. Complained at check out. Never even apologized. Said I should have called desk at 4am. Just what I need. A guy in a toolbelt in my room at 4am
