My absolute favorite is their salmon eggs benedict, I also love their house salad. I would highly recommend trying this place out whether it be for brunch, lunch or dinner!

Over priced plates of dog shit. Bearded retards everywhere. Rude wait staff, incompetent management. Smelled pot coming from the kitchen, need i say more?

Cool hang out spot. I had the duck and it was great. The air staff was friendly and not bothersome. The restaurant wasn't loud except for us. The bill was 22 for one. It was worth it.

I wanted to like this place, with occasional tasty brews and a menu that looks great. The food wasn't good and the weird egg based cocktail they recommended was also gross. They double charged me and were very rude when I called to get it credited back on my card. The manager wouldn't return my call, and when I got ahold of him he was sarcastic.

I have been here sporadically since Public opened--Good service, super friendly staff, great drinks, great ambiance. The menu sounds great, but the food is south of mediocre and completely inconsistent--A table mate and I ordered the same sandwich, barely resembled what the menu stated and on top of that--it was like they were prepared completely different. The pizza crust has been completely different a few times-I've had waitresses kind of grimace when I've ordered stuff and say they would try something else. Kudos for bei... read more

A Gem! Really good. We had the steak with brussels and potatoes and the shrimp and grits. Before that we had the pickles and salami, so good! Everything. What made it even better was that there was no pretentious and staff were welcoming.

Wichita Brickhouse Brewery. Just left the brewery and are having lunch elsewhere. Come to the brewery @12:50 and gave hostess our cell # AND name. Wait was to be 15 minutes. After waiting about 20 minutes and watching people seated who arrived after us---asked the hostess what was going on. She remembers us giving our info to her but said it got lost. So much for personal contact. The hostesses were content to stay seated behind the counter and really not care any about their guests. So that was our first visit to the brewer... read more

I went to the Public for the 2nd time with a friend for dinner (1st time was with a group from work for an in service). The service has been great both times that I've been there & the food is good too. Don't go by the menu on Urban Spoon though, because there's more on the menu than what it shows. I think it's been updated. There's a good variety of foods with some different, unusual dishes thrown in. And the atmosphere is awesomely casual with the old, vintage decor to go with the old bricks & pipes. I won't tell you what ... read more
