A light and airy dining room overlooks an open kitchen at Prune, where good American food is served in a charming ambiance. Oysters, gravlax, and deviled eggs are good starters. Popular entrees include braised rabbit legs with carrots and fennel, braised beef short ribs with Yorkshire pudding and grilled rib eye steak with parsley-shallot butter. For dessert, the warm chocolate cake is delicious; try the oranges with vanilla beans, and the unexpected and fantastic butter and sugar sandwiches.

This is one of our favorite places to visit in nyc. So excited you are going to the round table in Israel. It’s going to be such a blast. Don’t listen to the silly BDS people. We LOVE that you are going !!
Brilliant! Can’t wait to see you in the amazing democratic jewish state of israel!!
Love their atmosphere and of course their menus for lunch and dinner. Excellent duck breast with cranberry sauce. Love their cream of chicken soup. Definitely recommend it.
Delicious food, attentive & friendly service, and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The racist attack on this restaurant by antisemitic supporters of a hate movement to boycott Jews is disgusting. These bigoted "BDS" bullies are sick and twisted cowards. They are not liberals, they do not believe in anything even remotely resembling any reasonable or rational definition of social justice, and they certainly don't give one actual whit about the people they claim to represent. They're all about who (Jews) and what (Israel, the indigenous historical homeland of the Jewish people) they are against, rather than ... read more
Please do not attend the #ApartheidRoundTables in Israel. I’m a huge fan of the restaurant and Gabrielle but this is upsetting and shocking to see that you’re participating in this event. Please consider withdrawing.
Please reconsider participating in culinary roundtable in Israel, a country whose government is systematically wiping out a population. Moreover, the companies involved in the roundtables function on land stolen from Palestinians. #ApartheidRoundTables
Round Tables is an attempt to whitewash Israel’s grave violations of Palestinian human rights.
Israel's culinary propaganda festival claims to promote “dialogue through gastronomy,” yet 72% of Palestinians in Israeli besieged Gaza are food insecure. Israel's "gastro-diplomacy" festival is partnered with companies that operate businesses on stolen Palestinian land. Don’t lend your good name to covering-up Israel’s illegal settlements. Cancel your participation in #ApartheidRoundTables
