Prune

4.5

About this business

A light and airy dining room overlooks an open kitchen at Prune, where good American food is served in a charming ambiance. Oysters, gravlax, and deviled eggs are good starters. Popular entrees include braised rabbit legs with carrots and fennel, braised beef short ribs with Yorkshire pudding and grilled rib eye steak with parsley-shallot butter. For dessert, the warm chocolate cake is delicious; try the oranges with vanilla beans, and the unexpected and fantastic butter and sugar sandwiches.

Would you cook in Tel Aviv while Israel counts calories for Palestinians it keeps on a starvation diet in Gaza? Apartheid is always bitter. Cancel your participation in #ApartheidRoundTables

I wouldn't visit any restaurant which participated in the Round Tables festival in Israel. Israel practices apartheid in its treatment of the Palestinians and participation in their gastro diplomacy only serves to legitimise their crimes. Please do not attend the festival or support it in any way. #ApartheidRoundTables

Outstanding meal. Radishes with butter and sea salt followed by rabbit. Spring peas with dill and mint were perfect. So happy to have experienced the simplicity of a perfect meal.

It was a wonderful dinner experience. I had “high level” expectation from The Prune...and all was superb! Before going to dinner I’ve read something about The Prune...in particular there was a blogger who wrote “...and leave some spaces for desserts!” Well, that’s what I suggest you to do: leave some “spaces” for desserts! They’re Abbbbsolutely stunning...so good and yummy that we did an “encore” with 4 desserts (2 each!).
