RecommendedMy dad had a procedure done at Providence Hospital 2/6/2018 called a TAVAR. It is a procedure where they go in with a catheter in the groin area and replace a heart valve. My dad had a damage heart valve at 83 years old he was not a candidate for open heart surgery, so this is a new procedure they are doing now. He went through the procedure with no complications and doing great. He will be able to come home tomorrow and the recovery is not that bad.
