My family had a great experience at Memorial Hospital, they were good to my grandson who went in for surgery and stayed overnight. The only thing that bothered me is the pediatric unit and door are suppose to be locked 24/7 well they are not my son went in and out all day never once pushed the intercom button he didn't have to doors are unlocked. I'm making this public so it gets fixed doors are locked and everyone is safe in Pediatric unit.

So we spent a total of 9 1/2 hours here. We spent about 8 hours in the ER, and during a part of that time some idiot decide to threaten the intake clerk with a knife which is never good because the policeman sprayed him with pepper spray. Fortunately for him the idiot was taken down to the ground and handcuffed. He was taken away to be medically cleared before all of us who was waiting forever. Horrible. Triage nurse made me feel lower than low. She had such a horrible attitude & was clearly judgemental & discriminating against me. I left before being called back to see a doctor because of the way she treated me. Will never step foot in this hospital again.

Waited 3 hours before finally giving up and going to Healdsburg. The triage lady was horribly rude and to make people wait 3 hours and then tell them that there is no way of knowing how much longer we could be there....awful! Got to Healdsburg and was in and out in 20 min...and that includes minor surgery to cut open my daughters leg to remove a serious infection! I will NEVER go to Memorial Hospital EVER again. You may be busy...but you all have forgotten that these are people and not numbers that you are dealing with...and... read more
