AVOID THE MERIDIAN AVE ******** FACILITY!!!! I was seen in their ER in 2020 for less than an hour. I had met my insurance deductible in January so after hat my insurance pays out 90%. Per my EOB for the date of service a less than 1 hour visit cost over $3,000..................Okay well my EOB also said they had adjusted the amount and after my coinsurance I only owed $87.** (since my deductible was already met). I would like to place a complaint with service that was received at providence. It was really bad and I am hoping no other patient has to go through this. First time we went to Providence for my father in law due to chest pain, he set in lobby for 45mins and I kept asking the nurse when will you take him in his having chest pain. We learned this morning that a family member is in this hospital. We have been searching for him since 6/10/21. On 6/12 Mason County Sheriff opened a missing person case. One family member has been calling hospitals daily, and found him this morning. His parents and siblings have been crazy out of their minds thinking he was on streets with no car and no resources. Be very cautious when visiting Providence Express Care. They are very misleading about what insurance plans they accept and don't accept the same plans as the Providence Health Care system in Missoula. This is very confusing and unfair to patients. They also took a year to bill for the service and expected payment within 30 days. When bill was paid, they still turned bill over to collections even though they had been paid in full and the check cleared the bank. I am a health provider (RN) that visits vulnerable patients in the home throughout the community. I often need to call this office if it is the office of my patient's primary care provider to report concerning health issues and issues that need immediate resolution or clarification. For the past 6 months I can never get through. They have a physician line but if you press that option it's just a busy signal. This has been happening for months. They outsource ER physicians to Spokane Emergency Physicians. Of course, they don't tell you that. Spokane Emergency Physicians will bill you separately for an exorbitant amount and threaten collections while failing to properly bill your insurance. That was my experience and a very common theme in customer reviews. I can't imagine that Sacred Heart and other Providence hospitals are not aware of this practice. I was admitted in the hospital Sunday The nurses are rude. You can count the nice ones maybe 1 from 100 Anyway the food is so disgusting not even my dog would eat it.. this hospital use have great cooks- now they must have some one that's never been to school- since they don't care what they serve patients I'm sad- but will fight so I don't get changed for trashy food.
