We had Providence at Home with Compassus Hospice as the hospice agency for my mom in the South Bay area. They were recommended by Concerto Care, a home health organization we were using. This hospice organization was very good. Everyone was super nice and competent. Although mom was only on hospice for 8 days, we saw multiple nurses, a social worker, a home health aide, and a doctor. I recently had knee revision surgery when I returned home I was contacted by Providence Home Heath to set up home care. Asmi was my therapist. She was pleasant and very knowledgeable in home care. I've had in home care numerous times and Asmi and the rest of the organization are hands down the best.
When leaving the hospital (Providence Saint John’s Santa Monica) I was told by insurance qualified me to have Providence as my home healthcare provider. At the time that was very reassuring to hear. My challenge is not with the quality of the care once the home healthcare providers and PT therapists are here, rather, it’s the unpredictability and inconsistency of the service you receive. My husband was under Providence at home, Compassus hospice care LA team Torrence for 9 days, from nurses, medications delivery, social worker, and physician, every one was kind and compassionate, very professional and knowledgeable, I am very happy with their services. This is the 1st time for us to use hospice, I learned so much, and appreciate that they did a wonderful job.
