I went to the E.R. for my arm which is partially paralyzed do to a stroke I had this past December. I was just diagnosed with tendonitis in that arm last week. Even though the pain is unbearable most of the time, the Dr. Sent me home with a script for 600mg. Ibuprofen ,which hasn't helped at all. The doctor said he didn't want me to get addicted to pain pills and that was all he could do.So I told him I was going to a different hospital. My pain is insanely bad. I was very displeased.
My favorite hospital I have been in by far. Ia only familiar with the labor & delivery floor there. I delivered my son by cesarean there in 2015 & every visit was great. The staff was always so nice & helpful. During my stay there everyone was extremely helpful. I really had a pleasant experience which made my child birth that much more special. I recommend this hospital to everyone & will always leave a sweet memory in my heart. Blessings to the hard working staff there! 💖
I visited a friend at LCOM, Saturday afternoon. I'm familiar with LCOM as I have lived in Lomita, now Torrance for the last 20 years, but I hadn't been inside since prior to the renovation. It is beautiful inside. It was easy to find a parking spot in visitor parking and my walk to the main entrance wasn't too bad. I only encountered the security staff at the information area and they were very helpful. When I went to the nursing unit to see my friend, it was real easy to find his room. Superlative experience with the Heart Healthy Test
Some of the most IGNORANT ass nurses. Had us waiting for 8hrs for oxygen tanks and we received a call from home stating that they are at the house with the tanks. Just plan STUPIDY. PROVIDENCE LITTLE COMPANY Of MARY TORRANCE MEDICAL CENTER made a lot of money with this scam of theirs. The would not let my daughter leave because they were waiting on some so-called tanks. What a rip off with someone that has some good insurance. This really needs to be investigated IMMEDIATELY.
The hospital staff were very accommodating and helpful. They helped secure a private room so I could stay overnight with my husband over the weekend. He is battling pneumonia and other issues. They worked hard to get him comfortable and stable after being transferred from St. Mary's Medical Center Long Beach. They answered all our questions without beating around the bush.
