Update on May 10, 2025: was promised via email a discount due to removal of CCTV. Did not get it and my bill went up $5!!!!! Sadly, I've been with ADT since 2003 and next time I move, I will not get an ADT system. 6 months ago: There was a mixup with my account MADE BY ADT in August. There was a mixup with my account MADE BY ADT in August. I called 7 times in the past 2 months, and as of today, I spent more than 1 hour on the phone and talked to 5 different people. I have talked to more than 25 ADT people in total over the past 2 months, and I never got the same answer. On one call, I talked to 8 different people and each of them had no idea why I was calling. Repeatedly comes to our door at dinner time to bang on our door. Take a hint, leave us alone. Who is "us" you should stop visiting? How about just leave everyone alone and make the world a little better.
I have called to upgrade my system, when the tech tells me I haven't had service in over 5 years, but it came out of my check for the last 5 years, been on the phone with them for over 6 months trying to getthis settled, and they tell me I owe them because I haven't paid in the last 6months??? But they sure got thier money for 5 years and haven't given me any service, go else where, I was a customer for 17 years, the last 5, with no service !!!!
ADT is Corrupt and a bad business. Called to today to cancel my service. The rep would not do it and then said I was under contract and would owe them $679 after being a 10 year customer.
