I’ve been with John Hattingh since 1999 when he owned NW Prosthetics in Seattle. He is a genius in my opinion. I found him again in 2014 in Leesburg, VA. He makes me a set of legs and I walk. And I’m walking still! John, Darren, Michele, Alyssa and Liam are my dream team �
After almost 2 years of not walking John and his wonderful family have me up and walking I even tackled the stairs today. Had I not come up here and continued to see the place I was at near my home in NC I would not be were I’m at now which is amazing just after four days!!!
The Hattingh's have always been so supportive to all who cross their paths.... but this past week I was fortunate enough to receive care at their facility. It is hard to put in to words how life changing it really is. There is no place on Earth that you could get better results and tools for the future. My suggestion is no matter what it takes.... do yourself a favor and go see John! Get your life back... and if you're already doing well, I am convinced your game can be upped by consulting John. Do it!!
I have seen 3 other prosthetists since becoming an amputee 4 years ago, and it ALWAYS hurt to wear my leg, and i was never really taught how to walk safely. Luckily, via social media, i was blessed to have them offer to help me. Because of their help, i can walk without crutches, and i was able to return to work...
So excited as they are working on my new leg! Making tweeks and adjustments, the attention to detail they put into their craft of Amazing!! Not to mention, they're pretty Awesome folks too!! (even if he tries to mess with my butterfly, lol). I have been truly blessed to have them in on my journey! 👢🦋✨
Best prosthetic care I have had in 12 years being an amputee. Very caring, knowledgeable, experienced, etc... treat you like part of their family. Specialist in hard to fit amputees.

John Hattingh goes well above and beyond what other Prosthetist will and can do for an amputee. He shows how much he cares by the work he does. He doesn’t quit at good. He is the BEST at what he does! This is why i will aways come back to Hattingh Inc dba Prosthetic Care of Va. I’ve been to so many Prosthetist with mostly really bad results.
