A brief history: A driver had filled our tank to capacity, which we never do because it is too expensive for one payment. So, I decided to try and pay the bill over a few months. Apparently, the bill has to be paid in full within a certain time frame, a time frame that we did not meet (we were unaware). So they moved our account to will-call. I think they are terrible. Its been bad for me with money like everyone else. I am on almost zero that can't even make an emergency stop I have to wait 14 days they just don't care.

This company is absolutely horrible! I don't even know how they haven't been shut down yet. Was a customer on automatic delivery for 2 years. Figured when I bought the house I would keep it simple and transfer the service in my name. I don't know what happened this year but across the U.S people are having the same issues so that tell's you something. I was put in for a delivery on December 8, 2020. 2 weeks went by and nothing. Never delivered on time. Paid twice a $300 fee for 24/h emergency delivery that they never send! Don't even try speaking with people on phones - tons of lies and will put you on hold for hours. Nobody knows anything! They should not be in business. I hope someone will start a class-action lawsuit.

I just cancelled my account as my home heating propane tanks are just about empty (below 5%) and I have been asking, then pleading, for delivery for a month. I was promised an emergency delivery this week that never came. So I contracted with local vendor who are coming today with new tanks and gas. AmeriGas took over a local family business who were providing good service - got an emergency delivery within hours late one night when gas ran out back in March - and they have ruined the business. I don’t want to leave even a 1 star review! Amerigas has the worst service! They shrug you off don’t answer your questions offer $25 credit when they charge you exorbitant Tate’s for propane. Can’t explain why properties next door to each other ( tanks are 200 yards apart) are charged 40 cents a gallon difference. They say it’s the usage but the one charged the lowest per gal amount uses way less than the other. I called on a Monday to schedule a site survey. The guy I talked to said someone will be there the following Wednesday between 1pm-4pm. I asked if they could call me 20min prior so that I have time to get home from work. He said that should not be an issue at all. Come Wednesday it's close to 3:30pm and no call yet. What a trash company, Out of heat for over 2 weeks and still no scheduled delivery date. Don't worry in the time it took to get through to customer service, I already scheduled a new company to come change our tank. Thanks Amerigas??

amerigas is one of the most pathetic companies in existence. worthless customer service, incompetent drivers and greedy lying executives. I would not use amerigas unless you want to spend your winter in the cold because of their lack of organization and 100% incompetence.
