Poor service and reliability. Like many others, have been with AmeriGas since they purchased Synergy Gas. I agree with all the other 1 star reviews. Not at all what the service use to be. Going to switch companies.

Absolutely terrible service! My account was set up for auto-delivery. I always pay my bill on time when they send it to me. I ran out of propane on 1/18/21 p.m. I called on 1/19/21 at 7:10 a.m. to let them know I was completely out of propane. I was told that my delivery was scheduled and was also told that I would be charged a $60-something fee which was a "leak fee" Excuse me.... Lack of leadership, knowledge, and customer service. I haven't received a bill in 3 months. Left hand has no clue what right hand is doing. ZERO stars. AmeriGas seems to be growing through acquisition. However as soon as my contract is up I will be switching to a reputable reliable propane supplier. After seeing their rating i believe their growth strategy will not support them. They don't seem to have the correct infrastructure to sustain their growth. Shame on their leadership.

We are on day 5 of an empty propane tank and no heat during a cold January in Ohio. We were supposed to have automatic delivery last month. Have called daily and been promised emergency fill, yet still no propane. Extremely frustrating!

AmeriGas is a horrible company!! Unfortunately the propane company that I originally had was bought out by AmeriGas. To start with their "Automated System" is a joke!! It doesn't even work!! Then you sit on hold for a better part of 20 minutes or WAY longer. In the beginning of December I called to find out what my price was for a fill-up and asked if they had any deals going on at the time. We’ve been out of propane for 5 days. I have called 6 times. The last call the CS rep, Bob said there hasn’t been a request for a dispatch. He said he couldn’t confirm a delivery today. We are going with another company. They’ll be here next week.

We’ve been trying for weeks to get a tank picked up but can not get ahold of anyone to schedule this. The recording said 63 minutes wait. After 2 hours, we got disconnected. Whatever happened to customer service? We’re getting nickel and dime to death being charged for services we did not request, do not want, we do not use. Why is this allowed to happen? Thank you for your wonderful service, not.

We bought property with tanks on it that at that time were owned and managed by Pioneer Propane. Sold to Amerigas. We called them up to return tanks that we didn't sign anything with or about. Charged us 90 dollars per tank to come removed them. I might add these were rental tanks from the previous land owner. When removing the tank they drove directly on top of our septic lines, when asked to moved over 20 feet, they refused and drug the tank out over the lawn and left 20 yard 5 inch deep trenches. Negative stars!!! This is by far THE WORST company I've ever had the displeasure of using. Our propane tank ran dry and it has been 9 days that we have been calling, multiple times per day. Friday I spent 2.5 hours on hold. Their favorite trick is to 'place you on hold for a moment' and then never come back. Or they disconnect you. (I have not once lost my temper with them, am always polite.) Nobody can answer any questions, they can only put a note on your account.
