Good people with great talent. – Trained in NYC, Scott Kane has taught color and styling in Portland and could go toe to toe with the best in the country. Yet, Propaganda is an unasuming comfortable salon where you can pull an acoustic guitar down from the wall and get some playing tips from Scott or Joseph! No hype, just good people with great talent.
Always great haircuts and color!! – I live in Southern Oregon and first started going to Propaganda on the recommendation of my daughter who's a client. Not only does Scot give me the best haircuts I've ever had but the salon atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Of all the salons I've ever gone to over the years Propaganda is my absolute favorite!
12 years of rockin Hair – I just recently went to a party where 3 people pulled me aside and asked who does you hair? I love the color and the cut. I am turning 40 this year and I think i look better than i did in my 20's mainly cuz of my Rockin Hairstyle that Scott Kane gives me everytime- I seriously leave there and feel like i get looked at and noticed more than ever! Awesome talented stylists – Scott Kane has been coloring and cutting my hair since the early 90's and when he opened his own salon (Propaganda) I just had to follow him! People always ask who does my hair and I proudly refer them to Propaganda. The salon's vibe is friendly and relaxed just like the awesome neighborhood it's located in. Great conversation, lots of smiles and happy clients!
Jennifer - may hair savior – When in doubt, call Jennifer at Propaganda. She sometimes laughs at my tendency to procrastinate but always lets me leave with my dignity. And without my baseball hat. She can work miracles in minutes and reminds me that it's called a hair DO. Not a hair DON'T.
Most gifted hairstylist! – Scott Kane is an AMAZING hairstylist. He has been my stylist for over ten years and I've always got a great haircut and/or color. I get many compliments on my hair and it always looks great until my next cut, which is usually about 12 weeks in between--sometimes he looks at it and says, "It actually still looks pretty good!"--and I agree. I feel so lucky to have found him and if I ever move, I will fly to Portland to get my hair done by him. I'm not joking!
BEST HAIRCUT IN THE CITY! – SCOTT KANE IS A GENIUS! I have never gone to a salon and left with such satisfaction. I came to him without any picture or any idea what i wanted....we talked and i told him my basic preferences.
