Wow what has happened to Pronovias?! Went in yesterday to check out formals and not only was there no one anywhere to be seen except what seemed like a tense appointment happening in the back of the store, but veils were strewn all over the front desk and every dressing room had several gowns on the floor. It looked like a hot mess & dead zone at the same time. Such gorgeous formals…I wish I had received some help but I went elsewhere to spend the $1,000.
The shop is nice and staff are super helpful and patient. They don't serve alcohol so if you want a little bubbly, you can bring your own and they'll provide glasses. Dress prices start around $2500. We found several that were very nice but we felt the selection was a bit limited. This is a perfect place to start your dress search and several people found their perfect dress while we were there!
Give Jade a raise!!! Haha Jade, my bridal consultant, was such an angel. I was 90% sure what dress I wanted before I even walked in the door, but she still helped me feel like such a bride trying on other dresses just to be 100% sure. She made my consultation so special. I was moving out of state within a few weeks from my consultation, and would not be able to come by the store to pick up my dress when it arrived. I couldn't have had a better experience at Pronovias in Austin. Jade, my stylist, is truly one of the kindest and most knowledgeable professionals I've ever met. She listened to my style & pattern preferences and stuck to my budget. Jade made me feel so comfortable and confident, that I could have walked out in a trash bag and thought it looked good. If you want your experience wedding dress shopping to feel magical, then you need to go see Jade at Pronovias!!
Pronovias is the only store I went to and I found my dream dress right away (but after trying on 7 lol). Jade, my stylist, made the process feel so seamless, she’s really part of the girlies. She’s so sweet and sensitive, and my girlfriends said so too! The time, patience and care she puts in the bride to make her feel special is 6 stars out of 5!
