They sent a bid wanting $100 for the initial service. I told them someone just took care of my lawn. I then asked why do I have to pay $100. They relied with oh we are no longer taking new clients. If a lawn service asks for extra money for the first service on a clean yard, then they are in my opinion just trying to charging extra money to offset their lower bid. Why not just bid a higher price to start.
Don’t hire if you want weeds pulled. They charged me 1750 for weedwacking. When I complained about it, the owner rudely told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about and the only way to actually get rid of weeds was to use chemicals (the entire point of this was to NOT do that). They came back 2 more times, but did not do what I wanted, which was to pull up rootballs. What a waste of money. Weeds came back immediately.

ProLawns puts the pro in professional! My contact Mike Jones was knowledgeable, responsive and transparent. He answered all my questions and his team delivered on what was promised. Will use them again without hesitation, and will try their tree division next time I need some trimming done.
Hired Prolawns to do a pretty substantial cleanup of a pretty large yard. They came out promptly to give me a quote (which I received almost immediately), promptly responded to my follow-ups and clarifications, got me on the schedule almost immediately (sooner than anticipated), and brought more manpower than I was expecting.
