I have had 2 kids see Dr Young over the years. 8 years ago, she was amazing--caring, kind and understanding. She spoke to my daughter and not to me. She was willing to try lots of different medications. But something has changed--she is now curt and rude. She was borderline cruel to my 15 year old. Who cried for days after last appt. She only pushes accutane and if you don't take it--she is essentially done with you. So disappointed and finding a new derm.

Don't get the bad reviews. I think she is very knowledgeable and friendly. She works fast, but that doesn't bother me. Far better than a doctor who is always an hour behind.

She has been my dermatologist for 5 years. I have been their six times since March. First she said my inflammation was from stress. Ok, I was under stress. Systems got worse, rash spreading. More steroids, etc, etc. I have been miserable since April with scratching. Last time I wanted her to look at my groin area, she said I know your inflamed and left the room. I went to a new dermatologist yesterday, in five minutes, he did a scraping and discovered I had scabies. Won't be going back!

Dr. Young barely dedicated 5 minutes to my concerns. I had my first appointment with her after having to wait 3 months and after filling out a long questionnaire about my concerns and issues only to arrive and have to recall everything I had already written down on the questionnaire. Dr. Priya Young had no interest in addressing my concerns and went as far as insulting me, telling me to go back to my country when I asked her for more tips on helping control the itchy skin.
