I wanna thank you guys for such excellent service! My son had surgery and the staff was very nice and kept me informed the whole time. The Dr and nurses made my son and I feel like we were important and welcome. Staff was very friendly and didn't have to wait long everything started a few minutes before the scheduled time. Which was great and they kept coming in to check on us. They explained everything to my 5yr old the way he would understand. Only giving a star because I had to at least give one. This place sucks! My three month old is crying, vomiting in front of everyone, coughing, wheezing and she's still not "sick enough" to be seen. We have been waiting for hours. The nurse who checked her vitals said wheezing is normal for her (mind you guys I came because I personally have asthma and the way the baby sounds is how I sound with asthma). Two people have left because they've been here since 7:30ish and it's 9:31pm and they were still waiting.

I have to say Palmetto Children's Hospital has exceptional Care. Most the time you do not even need to use the nurse call button. But, if you do, they answer in seconds or minutes! If your nurse is not available, another one checks on you. The care, concern, and compassion shown by nursing, dietary, nursing techs, pharmacy, housekeeping, recreation, dietitians, and the diabetes educators is out of this world. My daughter was treated so well during her outpatient surgery experience. The staff and doctors were all wonderful and kind and my three year old absolutely loved the facility!
Excellent team of doctors and nurses for the main childrens floors as well as the cancer floor and the Hematology and Oncology clinic. We love all of them very much and appreciate their hard work and dedication!!!!!
