We had the worst experience of our lives at children’s mercy er last night and we were put at ease by the staff at priority care pediatrics. They are always so friendly and knowledgeable and treat you like real humans. They actually take an interest in getting to know your baby and your situation and help accordingly. I could almost cry in relief for their help today after our stressful 24 hours!
Over an hour past appointment time to see the dr!!! Almost late for work!
The toughest part is being told my daughter can't be seen because we haven't been able to pay mind you insurance covers a lot of the cost. Having a roof over our head and food is more important. We are changing Dr. Don't pressure people for money so damn much you have no idea what people are going through. We get the bills in the mail, we know you want your money but we don't want to be homeless unless yall want to pay our rent....I feel like things get swept under the rug at times as well. Awful. They force you into their policies and if you disagree they won't see you.
Professional, knowledgeable staff with hours conducive to any schedule. Walk-in hours for minor problems with little wait. Response time for nurse questions is minimal. Never have I waited long to be seen in the office with or without an appointment. Waiting room has plenty to occupy children for the brief wait and it is divided into a well-child and sick-child side -- VERY helpful.
