The staff was very nice and helpful, and the place is well kept and clean
UAB's Pediatric Primary Care Clinic at Children's has done nothing but great things for our son. Anytime I have had to communicate with the staff about scheduling my son's appointments or any questions I have had, they have bent over backwards to help me. Izzy, the appointment scheduler, has always been extremely nice, pleasant, and caring and has always gone out of her way to help my son, even beyond appointments. They children are just lab rats to these people. It feels like they make things up as they go, the communication between the many doctors that you see, (rarely the primary care Physician) is very poor. I often felt (throughout my pregnancy, as well) that the physicians that I encountered just assumed I was an idiot. They either tried to make vital decisions for me without my consent or tried to “homeboy” talk to me.
