I like this place. It's Maine owned, has character, is comfortable, has friendly staff, great food and it's very reasonably priced. The alternative is Hampton Inn at almost twice the cost, you have to walk or drive a distance to eat. It's all here at the PII&C.
I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and while this facility is obviously dated and in need of repairs I like the vibe. It used to be a snowmobiles hotspot and still has enough to keep me occupied when I stay there. Rates are fair and it's convenient for my needs.
